Usually?
What mainline magical attacks aren't one of those three?

Elvish Druid & Shyde and Mermaid Initiate, Enchantress & Siren

My personal favorite unit would probably be the Elvish shaman, healing, slowing and high dodge (on approperiate terrain at least) makes her a wonderful addition to my army.

The druid's and shyde's ranged impact attack (if that's what you are thinking about) isn't magical.

EDIT: Oh true, you must be thinking the shyde's melee attack...my bad  well, you can also include the slyph then.

6-3 pierce magical for the druid
8-3 pierce magical of the shyde

Well, since someone pointed out Mermaid Initiate line, I'm guessing we're not talking about Default Era but are including mainline campaigns, in which case the Runesmiths and Runemasters also do melee impact magical.

Elvish Blademasters with magical attacks?
Someone had their mainline confused...

And to the others: ah yes the Fairies and Fishes, I'd forgotten about those

Lightfighter meant his fobourite units i guess, on default and umc...

And about "usually", on a first thought i wondered it was an irony, then, it is true i didn't thougth of druids...

But overall i think as i said before silver mages are great, and alsoo NOT about best unit but best idea/graph are the WC variations, those are good to see, is a way to syntethize(i guess spelling is wrong, or maybe not...) a type of unit characteristics, weaker ones like bats and saurians high hp like trolls lower movility like trolls an dwarves, but dwarves having 1 mp cost on forest... etc...

Also: the peasant.

He can, with experience, become any one of four powerful units! For a limited time only, get yours today!

Side effect may include loss of zones of control, drymouth, eye irritation, death, loss of battles, loss of hair, loss of appetite, loss of a good record, nausea, excessive thirst, insomnia, terminal malignant tumors and frustration. Peasant is not for everyone, please consult your physician and tactical expert before using peasant.

Warning: Peasant should only be applied after a medium or heavy dose of other units. For some reason it's ironic that Peasants require a good level of skill to use.

The peasant and woodsman are the reason why northern rebirth is so fun. Simply spamming the AI to death with them is for some reason, very satisfying.

EDIT: well one of the reasons anyway, the drakes, variety etc. all help but level 0 spam FTW is fun too

Dwarvish scout line. The only dwarf besides griffons to have any considerable mp. The substantial ranged attacks are a bonus too.
