Strange things
Umm one day when I was play with computer, I find out a very strange thing: A Dwarvish Thunderer with 18-1 attack (no strong) attack my ally's Drake Burner with 50% resistance against Fire do 20 damage!!! I think that Thunderer should do only 9 damage to a Drake Burner
Maybe this is a bug?

Re: Strange things
Check the attack type, it's pierce not fire.
Re: Strange things
Oh!
Many pardon...But I now wonder why a "Thunder stick" that belch fire do "pierce" attack?

Re: Strange things
The damage is done by a bullet or shot that it hits you with, the belching fire is merely a visual effect.
Re: Strange things
The fire and smoke are merely secondary effects of the explosive powder discharging a small projectile at great velocities. While it may appear to be a fire-based weapon, I assure you the ball coming out of that muzzle will deal damage much more akin to bludgeoning or piercing damage.
It's a gun.
It's a gun.

Re: Strange things
Sorry, dwarves are far too manly for 'guns'. It's a hand freaking cannon.
