Wiki Scenario discussion

Post by Fulk d'Anjou »

Please, someone contribute to the scenario discussion in the Wiki section of this site. I KNOW I am but a tyro at this game and I am the only one contributing. This game, ideally, should be like chess in that once good moves are discovered they are made public and discussed, because obviously the complexity level is nearly limitless!

that wiki page seems pointless. just use advancedtactics, as miyo said, and GettingStarted. We don't need walkthroughs for the different scenarios.

Isn't that somewhat an oxymoron? :)

No. Many Wiki advocates claim that one of the advantages of a Wiki is that you can actually hold somewhat of a discussion in it.

Newsgroups should be used for discussing, if newsgroups is not availabe then possibly web forum.

Wiki is good for holding static information, decisions, plans, guides, help - and still letting everyone easily edit/extend/enhance/fix/etc

I think this means that wikis are not supposed to be used for discussion...

OK, OK

OK. It is obvious that most feel the Wiki scenario discussion is a waste of time. I won't expect those players to contribute.
I was aware of the advanced tactics page, of course.

Yeah, let's get rid of these horrible web forums and use newsgroups instead!
