Okay, giving the undecided student a try:

"Only though adversity does a man grow." The Brungar have taken this saying to heart, and rarely is it more true than for those who try to master the fickle runes to command the waves. When faced with the terrors of war and reality of combat, the grain is separated from the chaff, and those who emerge from their first trial succesful can join the ranks of the apprentices under the tutelage of a revered master of herb lore or water magic.

The Undecided Student has humble forces at his command, but strives to maximize their impact with proverbial dwarven tenacity. While he may be rather frail, he will no let anyone stop him from joining the fray, for that is the furnace where dwarves are made; it will not take long for him to prove his worth.

Well that certainly is impressive!

The only thing I can say to that is when talking about the magic over the waves, could you point out that it's runic magic? I know, I know, I'm very critical over this stuff regarding magic but still, I don't think it'd be that hard..

Also, maybe cut the "for that is the furnace where men are made; it will not take long for him to prove his worth." just because it's unneeded or if we decide to keep it change the "men" to "dwarf".

Looks excellent though.

ok, here's the edited wave master and council line descriptions (i went and redid the high council member as well, since it didn't make sense after i edited the other units):

wave master:

Those who advance to the rank of Wave Masters are true masters of their environment. They are capable of summoning huge waves that are large enough to crush their opponents simply by the sheer wieght of the water. It is an unspoken truth that Wave Masters are among the most powerful Brungar in existance and therefore must be treated with the utmost respect.[note]basically i added the last sentence to the description that was already there, along with a few minor wording edits[/note]

council member:

Council members are Brungar that have an inate charisma that sets them apart from other dwarves. While they are not the strongest of fighters, they are natural leaders and are able to inspire those around them, both on the battlefield and off it.

council elder:

The rank of Council Elder is the
next step up from a simple Council Member. These
Brungar have proven that they not only possess the
ability to inspire troops with their presence, but
that they have what it takes to survive both on the
battlefield and to handle the important tasks of maintaining their civilization.

high council member:

The rank of High Council Member is the next step up from a Council Elder. All members of the High Council are undoubtably some of the most skilled of their generation, and have survived many battles, some of which would likely have been lost if not for their presence. they are not often seen on the battlefield, as there are more important administrative tasks that require their attention. However, if the Brungar are fighting with unusual ferosity or skill, it is likely due to the presence of a High Council Member within their ranks.

high council elder:

The rank of
High Council Elder is without doubt the pinnacle
achievement of any Brungar's lifetime, for the task
of even being considered for this post is a
laborious and time consuming process, not to
mention the tasks ahead if they do recieve this
title. For those few who do reach this position,
however, they wield power and influence in the
Brungar kingdoms that is second only to that of the
ruling family.

the undecided student description makes reffrence to becoming a mage but not an apothecary. I also think it's overdoing it a bit.

i have no problems with pentarctagons description though.

it does mention herblore once, actually, but it does seem to reference magic more than herblore. also, a replacement word for 'apprentice' in the description would be good since the mage advancement is an has apprentice as part of it's name.

also, the "humble forces at his command" part...he uses his fists and a rock. the rest of it that mirion hasn't pointed out is good, but that one phrase in the second section really seems out of place.

Pent, the council members are not only leaders on the battlefield but leaders of the entire civilization. You should point that out. And don't say "you" like you did in the HCE description. And maybe switch "level" for "position" so as not to get it confused with leveling units.

Also, some of them are a little short, but other then that and some spelling errors.

Pent and Xandria, try to mention the weapons they use.

While they may be rather frail, he will no let anyone stop him from joining the fray, for that is the furnace where dwarves are made; it will not take long for them to prove their worth.
