Hey look, an undead goblin in an undead thread.

I made a north attack frame.
I'm sure it could use work.

I guess i'll take a stab at the soulless sometime soon.

If that's the base frame, the facing's wrong. It should be facing se.

Zombies don't get north facing base frames. That's the north attack frame to go with the other frames i made a while back and put in this thread. Check page 2 and on.

Also, i just decided it sucks and i'll rework it sometime.

OIC. My bad, didn't realise that was an attack frame.

I fiddled around with the head and arms of the north attack frame.

Also a zip of all frames so far. That's all the frames for the lvl 0.

My computer lives once more! :D

And with that bit of necromancy, i decided to celebrate with a little thread necromancy to do bat necromancy.

A soulless bat to be precise.

(Just one frame for now, imma wait for C+C first)

Looks good - while you're at it, why not sort the shadow out to current standards? Creating_Shadows_Under_Units

North frames finished. Now to work on the death frames.

Edit: Finished the death animation. I was a little stingy and borrowed a couple frames from the lvl 0 for it. I attached all the frames in a zip.

Looks excellent. If I can figure out how, I'll get it committed, otherwise, I'm sure jet will do it.

I've beaten you to it. Committed.

FYI, the way zombies are done is via an otherwise almost completely unused feature called "variants". They're all inside the same unit files (walking corpse and soulless, respectively), but each one has a separate listing of the modifications they make relative to the core unit. Most of them for the zombies, since they all use the same set of animations, use a macro to redefine their images, but the bat, because it breaks with the usual scheme for animations, uses a hand-defined one. In fact it was actually already there, it was just naming the zombie frames instead. I just changed the instances of 'zombie' to 'soulless'.

Goblin zombie's back! With shorts!

Did it to match the goblin spearman better. Don't really see why he'd pick up a pair of pants upon death.

I'm wondering whether to have him lose the shirt so it doesn't look like a singlet anymore.
Thoughts?

Edit: Bare midriff goblin zombies to stop the clothes looking like overalls.
