Here's a good converter. You could probably use audacity as well, since I'm not sure what SA does to sound quality with .oggs. I've found it good for .ogg -> .mp3 conversions though.

EDIT: Clarification: good for a free software, that is.

Animation proceeds apace. The Tusklet is finished, the .cfg and sounds are included within...

EDIT: tusker too.

EDIT: I duly declare these finished =D

Nice with additional Wesnoth fauna! :)

As I was curious about the animation.... An APNG animation of the Gorer (will not work in all browsers).

Nice to see all the animations, I cannot wait to see the finished product in game.

*Goes to alter some unit files to try seeing it in action.*

Kess: needs some serious fiddles on the timings...

EDIT: Due to the string freeze, I can't put these in mainline yet, but i'll be uploading them as UMC (once i figure out how) and they'll be on Wesnoth UMC Dev SVN until they go into mainline for everyone's delectation.

Needs moar cowbell.

Bull and cow. I might do a calf, and I'll consider making a few extra variants on the back colours to add interest, assuming that's possible. Based on a zebu. Look it up =D

the Udders on the cow are too far forward, the bull needs to have that hanging bit cover more of the length of it's underside, and both are a bit too thin (Most of their body seems to be built like they're not starving except their bellies). That is of course assuming that your basing their shape on real cows and bulls, and that they're relatively well fed (if they aren't then the shading will need to make them look thinner in the rest of their bodies)

Of course, this is based on these outlines, the thinness issue may dissapear with shading....

Aside from that, looking good :)

They (particularly the cow) may be a little skinny. but the sub species they're based on is natually fairly skinny anyway. i'll bulk them up a touch before I shade, though, and move that udder back. Thanks.

...udder is a strange word.

yes, yes it is :hmm:

another thing that just occured to me, which actually may just be my imagination, is that their spots (or splodges really) seem very flat (well duh :annoyed: ), what I'm trying to say is that when doing them the ones around the edges, or on curved surfaces should probably be squashed along the curve, almost exaggeratedly so. And the one on the bull's front leg should suddenly become smaller when it goes around the leg, so that it's obvious that it's going out of view, and then back in view again (at least I think that's what's happening, if not then just go ahead and ignore me :P )

Oh, and can you please put on of the splodges over one of their eyes, and call him spot, pleeeease? (It's just such a cliche that it needs to be done)

Not to be contrary, but looking at the pictures for a zebu, I'd say the udder placement is probably right. Though, to satisfy all those who will see the cow and not know it came from a zebu, back is probably better. Same for the skinniness actually, you just happened to pick a bovine that is naturally on the skinnier side (skinny to those of us used to traditionally depicted cows).

At least to me, the cow gives an illusion that its... thingy in the near head back is bigger than the bull's one. I don't know why, but I think it's the horns... :hmm:
But I like them a lot. :) Keep it up! :D

Updated. I decided to colour them without markings - it makes shading easier, and it allows easier recolouring and addition of various different markings later.
