Re: Artwork for Children of Dragons
This is either a leading animation or disco. I'm getting lazy.

Time for a fiery death animation. All that is left is an idle animation. Anyone have any comments/suggestions?

It's kind of odd that in his leading/disco animation his right wing shifts a little, but his left doesn't.

Ok done with them. I'm not going to fix the wings or head on the flying one unless anyone shows interest.

Really cool, BLM! That's... I love those! OOOH!! You made everything from scratch? If you did, million times "OOOOOH!!!! You're one of the best sprite makers! OOOOH!!"
Check out my sprites!

Yeah, nothing frankie here. Made them all with a mouse in photoshop. As a side note, I'm growing to hate my computer as the screen will randomly quit working or flash. Its not a problem with the monitor as it seems to work fine with other computers. :/

Re: Artwork for Children of Dragons
Looks very good - the animations are well done =)
The only slight issue I can see is in the way you've done the motion blur for the claw attack - it looks good, but it's not the same methods used by the mainline wesnoth sprites, so it might look out of place. To do mainline-style motion blur, pick out one light and one dark colour from the blurred area (usually just the weapon head/blade) abd draw the main part of the blur in the light colour, surrounding it with the darker colour. Set it on a separatelayer at 60% opacity and you're done =)

Re: Artwork for Children of Dragons
Thanks for the feed back. I'll get around to fixing the motion blur eventually.
For now here is a WIP for one of the characters in the campaign. I shaded the wings backwards I noticed.
Also on the far wing the reason for the different color is your supposed to be seeing the structure through the wing.
Right now tropical storm Fay is passing over my town... Somewhat lucky to have not lost power yet.

Here is Freon. I'll still consider it a wip, although it is far enough along to be considered a finished picture. One this one I was really going for a smooth and fast appearance. Also MarkP ,campaign designer, I want to hear your opinion. Does it work or not? If not what can fix it? If you think that it is good enough let me know!
Used an external uploading method because I don't like what the forum does when it resizes.
Also here is example stuff: edit: this is on hold until I get a response.
(If MarkP can find five minutes to login and view the posts, he can find five minutes to say something)
