i just don't understand what you aim to achieve.

The thing is, we know from reality that humans have a variety of skin tones. The same human has a variety of skin tones depending on how much sun they get.Blueblaze wrote:Yes. Drakes have slight variations, but the other races don't.is there some "only one species per skin tone" rule that the Wesnothian gods are enforcing?

I don't see a problem, noone's going to mistake these guys for orcs - orcs are all shaggy with big floppy ears, for a start...

I like the revisions, and your new portraits
. From what I remember of the originals, the revisions are a good improvement.
Their emotional tone is conveyed quite well. It makes me think they are part of the same people, just as much as the similar clothing and style. It's a bit surprising to hear they're not for a particular campaign.
They have the seriousness about them of some tragedy remembered, but the individuals are still quite distinct in their portrayal.
Still, the anatomy and clothing is quite generic. I could see them being used in a variety of situations simply by recolouring the skin, hair and clothes. But you might have to do some self-promotion for campaign designers to be able to find them.

Great work.
All of them has a real personnality.
Some shading would make them even better.
I think, the guys from Extended Era might be able to use it for the Kalifa faction.
