Can't use add-ons

I just recently downloaded vers. 1.4 and my old add ons did not work.
I have tried to re-download them from the add-ons in the main menu.
The download, and when I go to "remove add-ons" they are there.
However, when I go onto the server, I cannot use any of them.

Is there any way to fix this?

Stoopid question, but have you restarted the game after downloading the add-on ?
I have the same problem on Windows, but when i restart the game, i can use the new add-ons.

Yeah, I have downloaded add-ons from Main Menu and the program says add-on has been successfully installed.

I closed the game, found the add-ons saved on my userdata folder.

But when I relaunched the game, I cannot find the new campaigns that I downloaded in the Campaign menu. What should I do?

How do you know they are campaigns?

Same problem here.
Addons are installed in my homefolder (~/.wesnoth/data/campaigns/)
I can remove them but they are not listed in campaigns...

Other content on the addon server is ment for usage on the multiplayer server.
If you have further trouble please state what addons you are trying to use.
