Cool. Nice work here.

I always imagined Wesnoth trolls with a rough, rocky texture to their skin.

I think there is a problem with the elbows, they look like they are out of place.

I don't see anything strange with the elbows...

The next step is the line editing, but so far, what do you think about it admins?

Try to turn your own arms that way.

Though the joints *can* sit facing forwards and backwards, sideways (to the outside) is much more comfortable and actually allows you to bend them. See this gorilla.

I like it too.
I just wait for some comments of art-contributors.
I don't see any problems with an elf-woman hitting somebody with a mace...

you've got a great start for the whelp portrait here! i'm impressed how well you translated the gorilla's anatomy on a fantasy creature!
and his loincloth is really cute!

a few things that bug me:
- linequality; your lines appear a bit pixely and you could use more width variation
- shading: you use too much white, which makes him appear made of a shiny material and nothing rock-like
- the grey you chose is very boring, give it a bit more alternation
- his left leg is too light, considering the light situation
- his right foot isn't as well defined as the rest
- like mameluke suggested, you could play a bit with his facial expression, making him a bit more dumb.

and i don't know how much of a problem that is, but portraits don't show the whole person/creature in general...

I'd say that looks more sad than dumb, and tbh making a 'dumb' expression is not something i think is really easy. I prefer the previous face, though the new shading is better.

Nice work man...I like it.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Very nice!

The left arm is too short though, looks like it is just the fore arm connected to the shoulder.

Yes, it's a cool pose but the left arm (his left) is not foreshortened nearly enough. The hand and forearm need to be widened to make the perception of depth work right.

Nice posing, aside from the foreshortening issue. But don't forget that generally, the posing of a portrait should be passive - in this he's about to throw that rock at whatever he's looking at, because it would have to be moving in order for it to be above his head like that. if he's talking deferentially to his leader, it wouldn't really work to have him in the process of throwing a rock at said leader...
