Wose on other languages
How have you translate woses on your language???
In Greek I can only think is Δέντρο που Περπατάει(Walking Tree) and I don't like it very much.

In spanish we use Wose.
Author of the unofficial UtBS sequels Invasion from the Unknown and After the Storm.
A wose according to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodwose) isn't necessarily a tree.. the word just sounded good I guess 
In German we use "Waldschrat" (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrat) which is a similar but different mythical creature (also not a tree).

I opened a topic about italian translation only http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=37614 . Since my suggestion is https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dendroide , maybe there is a similiar word in Greek (or Ancient Greek) that can help you.
