Added the Unit name to the subject line --Irrevenant
Actually, it is not a new idea, but I finally, using my limited amount of Gimp-Fu,did the art for it. Put this in your custom campaigns and eras where you want!
That is what I have worked out so far.[/code]

Don't go to Glowing Fish for advice, he will say both yes and no.
Why don't you give it the absorb essence ability someone proposed a short while back, so not olny is it a bererker fire bat, but it is an essence sucking berzerker fire bat.

3-3 berserk fire...that's really nasty, you know? Practically instant death to almost any melee unit.

It only has 12 hit points, so not only would it have a small chance of killing any melee unit, it wouldn't even have a good chance against most ranged units. Besides, of course, the skeleton archer.CarpeGuitarrem wrote:3-3 berserk fire...that's really nasty, you know? Practically instant death to almost any melee unit.

But if it's a berserk ranged attack, isn't that up to 90 attacks done against a melee unit? And at 3 damage each, that's pretty bad.

Oh, its attack is supposed to be Melee. Did I forget to put that in the unit WML? I think maybe I did. Anyway, it is a melee unit.CarpeGuitarrem wrote:But if it's a berserk ranged attack, isn't that up to 90 attacks done against a melee unit? And at 3 damage each, that's pretty bad.

I actually couldn't tell, and was about to start arguing in defense of the honor of my flaming berserk bat.anakayub wrote:I think it's underpowered.
It's a joke, if you couldn't tell.
Although, if we really were to get into a flame war, this would be the unit we would want on our side.

Oh...that makes sense. Okay, yeah. If it's melee, that's an entirely different story. I dunno. I just kinda saw "fire", and I thought "fireball", and that made me think "ranged". Silly me, I didn't see the attack's actual name.Glowing Fish wrote:Oh, its attack is supposed to be Melee. Did I forget to put that in the unit WML? I think maybe I did. Disagree. Imps are a type of demon. This is not a demon, it's a bat.deoxy wrote:Second this.WarHighlander wrote:Imp would be a better name.
