Indeed this partof a animation frame, where the character i getting the arrow from behind and then applying this to the bow before shooting.
Here is part of animation that should show how it might look.
Excuse the camrashift, but that needs to be repaired.
But you should be able to see what it might looklike else:)

The only thing moving is the string and arrow. This looks WRONG. Her arm should move back as she looses to compensate for the strain she was under drawing the bow. Her whole body should be moving with the shot. But above all the bow staves should BEND. The string should not stretch much - the power in a bow comes from the wood/composite of the staves, not from the string - the strings are not elastic - they have about the stretchiness of tennis racket/guitar strings.

Yeah this was completely wrong. I think regarding animation this should give a much better impression. Even in this few senconds there are a hundred things to improvethespaceinvader wrote:The only thing moving is the string and arrow. This looks WRONG. Personally, i'd prefer this if she pushed her hands out from her chest like she's throwing the magic away fropm her - it looks a bit stilted at present. But again, it has potential.

Yes it has potential . The original avi already looks much better and smoother when played with according framerate.thespaceinvader wrote:Personally, i'd prefer this if she pushed her hands out from her chest like she's throwing the magic away fropm her - it looks a bit stilted at present. At least if if you ignore a small head push and the growing halfskirt.
The latest version i have here is even physically balanced in respect to the essentials of an according weight point .
Animated GIF is a sucking Format but i simply can´t post anything other in this forum right now.

No reason to start something like this.
Would you prefer to see her like the computer god created her?

Cliché aside who cares? Does somebody now want to start a discussion about it? Than Off Topic with it.

With the caster, I actually like the hands - it looks like she's using all her strength to prevent the energy backlashing into herself.
