hmm. I made it using the same program as my earlier frankenstein, and that showed up. It's a .png file.

ubertuna, there should be the PNG file signature at offset 0001h and there are just zeroes. Odds are your file got mutilated in the upload process... very early.

In normal PNGs:

Code: Select all

0000: 89 50 4E 47
Yours:

Code: Select all

0000: 00 00 00 00
So it's definitively corrupted. Try again.

You can, but the rest of us cannot, probably because you have the "real" non corrupted file and it reads it for you.

For the rest of us, it only appears "Sword.png" and nothing more.

It is not corrupted.

Irfanview views it fine. It also says the compression is "Quicktime".
I think he just saved wrong somehow.
What program do you use?

It's size is also a lot bigger than it ought be.

Used appleworks. Here is another one. I don't know why it looks big to other people. It looks like the size of a normal unit to me.

I think ubertuna saved it with *.png extension, but not in PNG format. Unfortunately, I'm no magician and can't guess its real format when the file has no magic signature at the start.

Hello, I'm new from Wesnoth (I think it's a wonderful game!) and I want to know what you think about my first work, and obviously I want you to forget me about my bad english...

Oh, the "work" is my avatar!
I hope to find some online space to put my imgs later!

Looks pretty good. Did you draw it from scratch?
