I Can´t login in Firefox for Windows

Post by jdsampayo »

It's only me or what is the problem?
I can't login with Mozilla Firefox (in windows).
IE has no problems.
Firefox (in linux) has no problems.

I put my username and password, it redirects me back to the forums, but the blue button "Log in" has no changed to "Log out [ username ] ".

Any ideas what is happening?

Yeah. You're logging in from 'wesnoth.org\forum' not 'www.wesnoth.org/forum'. When you log in, it redirects to 'www.wesnoth.org/forum'. So if you got rid of the 'www.' you would be logged in.

But why wesnoth.org and http://www.wesnoth.org use different cookies? I always use http://www.wesnoth.org anyways, but I'm kind of surprised to read about this issue. Shouldn't the browser just redirect wesnoth.org to http://www.wesnoth.org?

I had this problem too, but now I don't need to use IE for anything!

Yeah, it does seem a bit wierd. But then again, I'm no HTML expert.
