here they are a battle mage (my third attempt), a pathetic dwarf hedeaded dude,a saurian riding a hippo, and a horibly off scale but still cool elephant rider and more will come soon

looks good :)

though the battlemage's cloak would do better with some distinctive outline. My favourite has to be the suarian swamp rider as well 8)

I guess you're not the only one who can make those graphics; I mean, they are not unique by being frankensteinations.

They lack a bit definition and indeed some shading.

They're a good start, but very, very dirty. There is far too much inconsitency in color and the shading needs a lot of work. With a little, actually, with a lot of touching up they could look very good.

Indeed, the lack of dark outlines and general shading make them all look... :| not good at all.

As Dragon Master said, with a plenty of finishing touches they can be quite neat.
I wish I had more time in my hands.

i know the battle mage's cloak is way to grainy and outlines are a good idea, i need to work on my shading and i agree the recolor and add-ons are realy slopy, hopefely my next bach will be better

the orcs got jealous that the pathetic goblins were the ones who got to ride stuff, and this guy decided to ride a sabertoothed cat

Once again, good start, but very dirty. Try looking at a piece of clothing and model it after that for mage robes. The pixels on the robe look just thrown on randomly to form a jumbled mess. Don't get discouraged, I'd have to say that making a convincing looking picture in a 72x72 pixel space is a very hard talent to grasp.

They look really dirty, and this make it look bad...
