I thought someone drew a better head for Li'sar at some point, but I couldn't turn it up on forum search when I tried "li'sar head" or "li'sar hair". Anyone remember?

I didn't like your first edit so much, but your second is really cool. Looking at my previous sprite again I realize that she's too thin and that esp. the legs didn't really work the way I did them.

I'll take a shot at editing your last design. Time will tell if I actually improve it.

DOUBLE POST!

I added some contrast, gave her a blue cloak in a different design (more roman/rangerish, not sure which), more gold, less pillowshading, more clearly defined edges, etc.

I wonder if I overdid the dithering on the cloak. Nvm, here it is, anyway:

Has it something to do with the level 2 Princess sprites improvement before (?) the first 1.2 beta?

IMO, Hender's improvements are starting to look better. It only needs some touch-ups once the basic shape is okay.

Quick frankensteining... note that the L2 Princes sprite's head isn't compatible with the pose of the rest of her "new body".

Requires some modifications, but I post it for comparisons.

Perhaps I should've downloaded Wesnoth 1.2.1. Oh, the changelog doesn't mention that new L2 Princess sprite. Or did you get it from SVN? It seems to fit better her portrait.

Redeth, is she like 10 or something? Make her a bit taller....shes around 5 pixels shorter (rough guess, but looks like 4 on tip, one on bottom)

*cough* Returning to our dear L3 Li'sar...
I was bored and decided to make a "few" edits to Hender's-etc. Battle Princess. I used the GIMP and my shading style (which is based on using translucid pencils and such). Unfortunately I overwrote the original, and I was too lazy to download it again and paste it there for comparison.
