Re: Little bit help needed
Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mille wrote:Ok - Here is another one - Feel free to comment.
Two thing are missing, but i´m unable to do it right now.
In the window there should be light.
The little roof-glas should gleaming in red.
Perhaps someone can be so kind and help me with this little
Workshop for Leonardo da Wintschi:)
As well - What is the optimal size for buildings?
Do you own copyright for that too? plus it's the wrong perspective.

Ok sorry - You are right.
It is the total wrong perspective. I have looked on it at the map. I only
considered the the lower edge and not the uplook. I should have taken more care. Perhaps i can save something of it
Ok -This is a beginners error, but i just started and you should at least consider i´m willing to do something.
Regarding the Copyright. I think this question is fair, and i think we should talk this out forever. What is allowed in this forum and what is not?
I´m not sure at some points. Perhaps you can answer this, and i will simply follow the rules.
1) Simply steal already existing buildings from somewhere else
No Question . This would never be allowed and i won´t ever do it.
2) Use own Photos, resize them, edit them...
No Question i think either. Absolutely allowed.
3) Use foreign Photos as simple look at drafts (as in the last building)
I think this is no question either. Allowed
4) Use public domain or GPL provided photos (wikipedia and wiki commons) to get small textures to be used.
I think in both cases that is no problem. For this building i used
such textures, but perhaps you see this in a different way.
5) Use public domain or GPL provided photos for building shapes
????
6) Use public domain or GPL provided photos for resizing and as editing basis.
???
In this case,
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image ... ndmill.jpg
was the source my editings. Please understand - I strongly respect copyright - I work myself as journalist and author and understand the the importance of this topic - as i live from copyright .
IMHO it is a free image and so editing it is absolutely allowed.
I did creative work to the image by adding new elements and give the building a special intention. This makes it an work of it own, and thus
i have the copyright on it.
From the point of copyright it seems clear to me.
Perhaps the Forum has more strict rules regarding this. That would be fine for me as well, but then state so please.

One of them looks a little like an omelet, too.
Why is the base so much thinner than the top of the building?

It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.
Yes - The eggy one.)
and Da Wintsch has such a house
The base is so much thinner, because my girl friend tried to redo my bad perspective version withou view from above by doing a simple perspective transformation:) That made the base smaller, but she said, skewed houses are charmingElvish Pillager wrote:One of them looks a little like an omelet, too.

Attack Icon
I´m searching for the actual version of the "mud glob" attack item. I want to
adapt it for my swamplings. I have this two version: the first is in the package of Wesnoth 1.1.2a the second want comes from the wiki.
So i think there is a rework of this attack icon at all. Can somebody give me the actual version please?
