MMORPG

Turn BfW into a MMORPG! Or design another version that's MMORPG.
If stupidity got me into this, it should get me out.

Yeah, I figured. I'm still trying to learn the basics of programming though...

I just thought it would be cool to be able to recall units in a MP game.

follow a WarCraft like Path you mean..:) It's definitely a cool idea, I'd be willing to jump on that project if you decide to start it.

Metal Man!

The Metal Blade was surely the best weapon in any Mega Man. 8 directions! Half a bar to use!

I disliked the earlier megaman games, I tried megaman 1 once and faced off with Crashman;

His tactic excisted especialy of not attempting to attack me but just jumping ontop of me and doing huge contact damage;

At least in the latter megaman games like Megaman 7 the enemies had a very obvious and repetetive combat style which allowed you to take em down by just using the same counter moves over and over.

Blades worked well against almost all the bosses. I liked the earlier ones because you didn't need to know the weaknesses, you could just find the pattern of the bosses to dodge their attacks and fire your own. This takes some time, but it works!

Couldn't you just slide whenever he was about to fall on you an then shoot him, or you couldn't slide in Megaman 1?.[/too young and uncultured to know]

You could slide in MMX1, but it was a little uncomfortable. I've btw never got past the spider in sigma's fortress, nothing can harm him.

Use ice on the spider in MMX1. It's fast enough to hit him (almost) and it does two to four bars of damage. In the earlier MM games, there was no sliding. You just had to be really good. But yeah, you run under crash when he/she jumps, jump (to avoid the crashbomb) turn (cause crash is behind you now) shoot (you should hit crash as crash comes down).

Yeah, but the problem was mostly with him being the first boss I attempted fighting; so I had no upgrades nor special weapons to fend him off.

In Megaman X1 I owned Eagle crow, the background music in his stage was absolutely fabulous.

I always used the standard pea shooter to beat crash, otherwise it was too easy. Two hits with airman's tornado gun and crash is dead.

Forgive me for bringing this back on topic here, but yes, we seriously need a Wesnoth MMORPG. I think the main thing that keeps this from happening is a lack of programers, and there is no easy way to make that up quickly.
