Better. But make it more red at the ends of the fire or give it a red shine with a one-pixel-gap between.
First read, then think. Read again, think again. And then post!

I think the flame looks good now. Not to fond of the smoke. It looks like a blob. It should be more transparent and "whispery" imo.

I was using Pixel Editor before, a little program easy to learn. Does not handle layers, but you can open different images and use it this way. Not very practical indeed :D .
For the beak, the old beak was definetely a bird beak. The only problem was that I considered whether a unit was using it or not after drawing it, which was not very smart indeed. Anyway now, if you want to have great eagles attacking , you can. It could also be used for a piercing attack of the griffons, I don't know.

Isn't beak for the Cockatrice?, cuz i don't remember any Drake going at it with a beak.
Yes if it gets finished.

It would help if someone says which one looks better.

The right one looks better, less 'messy' to me.

I like both of them the best. :)
They are equally good! (They look a bit like two frames of an animation. Well can't have animation here...)
It seems that they are getting the same amount of vote, so it's up to you wayfarer. :)

Hi pals, I am not good at painting, but being bored I wanted to mess around with the icons. I attach modified versions, it's poisoned dagger and trolls fist which is more "bulky", though I've spoiled antialiasing, kinda quick edit.

Well thanks, but editing is nothing compared to drawing them, so kudos to the authors
