Strange, I just checked my upload quota in my profile and it said I have only used up 1%, but I still cannot upload it.

EDIT: deleted some of my attachments and it works now, but still want to know reason.

Very slick animations you got their Ranger M, very nice indeed.

Is that some kind of record?
That kind of amount of quality is needed if you want to obtain fluid animations such as this.
Well not entirely "that" much, it all depends on what your working on.

So is it a whole website upload limit, not individual?

Yes thats why I mostly use Imageshack. Saves space and I mustn't go though my attachments everytime.

Here is the basic animation I did for the orc xbowman not long ago, are there any suggestions as to what I should do/improve before I start editing it (apart from leg movement)

The way the head turns looks a bit funny, is there a reason?
Also it's a little slow...although that might not be so conspicuous in-game.

the head is supposed to be turning, but I admit it doesn't look too good. I'll probably change/edit it.

The speed is not what it will be, this is a demo I made. There will also be more frames.

the X-bow seems to have a strange blueish colour...

is it the same colour than the standing frame ?

The cape is moving wrong.

yeah, the cape is wrong, I did it as a sort of example (to be improved later) when I made it to give the general idea of movement, I'll change it when I make the final animation.

the xbow is very blue, I used the old one from the attack animation, I'll change it if neccisary.

Not a discussion point now, sorry: I would like to see different animations for archers for attacking north and south, as the pikeman has.

I feel ashamed that I don´t have the time for doing it. :?

I would like this too, for all units.

I'm currently working on those for the elvish fighter, and will probably end up taking care of those for most of the elvish race.

Corrected white mage (and female) death frames

Post by slightcrazed »

fixed the issue with the staff falling too fast and being out of position. Tar file includes all 4 frames for the white mage death, plus the first 2 for the female. You only need frames 1 and 2 for the female animation because by frames 3 and 4 you can't tell the difference.

white mage melee attack

Post by slightcrazed »

New animation for white mage melee attack - takes a stutter-step and then thumps you in the gut with the end of the staff. Kind of fitting for a white mage, me thinks.
