I have one question, can I use images from the game to make a free web card game?

It does not matter if the game is free or not, what matters is that it has to be licensed under GPL version 2, that means that everything you took into it was licences under GPL version 2 or later or compatible licences, such as MIT or BSD, and that its source code will be available for free (except some shipping fees) and free to base new things on it supposed it will be licensed under GPL version 2 or later as well.

Read the GPL license to learn more, it is not too long.
