Better Looking Dirt
The 'dirt road' tile, found in images/terrain/dirt.png really doesn't look very good. It was done by me, in about five minutes, using the Gimp.
We need a brave pixel artist to try to make it look much better than it does at the moment! Scenario designers seem to like using it, so it's important it looks good! Who-ever does it will also have to do some good looking transition tiles (dirt-n.png,dirt-s.png etc).
Are there any volunteers? I know dirt has to be about the most boring thing imaginable to draw, but we really do need some good dirt!
Similiarly, we need a better looking paved road tile - images/terrain/road.png

The non-fun, yet needed graphics continue...
Terrain graphics may not be much fun to draw, but they are sorely needed. Below is a list of whats needed.
We have but need improvment/transition tiles:
* Dirt (improvment/transitions)
* Paved road (improvment/transitions)
* Cave floor (transitions)
* Cave wall (improvment/transitions)
* Swamp water (transitions)
* Hills (improvment)
* Castle & Keep (improvement)
New tiles that I/we could really use:
* Swampland
* Jungle (heavier than trees)
* Dead Forrest
* High mountains
Fancy tiles:
* Additional deep water (waves?)
* Additional grass (bushes/shrubs?)
* Additional mountains
* Additional Forrest
