Zerovirus' sprites for UtBS

Post by Zerovirus »

Naga Hunter. Possibly as a replacement for the ancient sprite used in UtBS.

Naga Hunter looks really cool! Also, sorry if this sounds rude, but I kinda don't like the thing hanging from his arm... I mean, it looks like plastic... But anyway, just ignore this post if you want as it's mostly just something with my eyes.
Check out my sprites!

I somewhat agree that it looks mis-placed or strange...
Though I don't believe it's that horrible looking, I mean where else would the band go... it's tail?

The solution is not to ask where else it could go, but to ask whether it needs to be a band in the first place. The Naga sprites have a good line in shiny, lacquered-looking armour, make the helm part into something similar.

Back to work. Current projects: Catching up on commits. Picking Meridia back up. Sprite animations, many and varied.

Heh, Hold on, is it both Naga and Merfolk that are roman based or only Merfolk...?

I thought Naga's used semi-automatic crossbows with incendiary thermite arrows . . . my beliefs that this race is awesome is now shattered.
Current Project:
Insane Hermit
That second campaign will probably become a book instead, or a movie or a game or something. Sorry guys.

Nagas are inspired by the near/middle east, and the indian subcontinent, rather than rome and greece.

Neither had thermite, so their origins are from some other culture.

First, beginning on the day after tomorrow based on when this was posted, I will be in China on vacation and thus without Internet or computer access. Don't expect me in the forums or making sprites for a month. At least the good thing is that I'm going to be on TV.

However, after discussion with Espreon, I am to redesign all the graphics of UtBS, to facilitate a complete reboot of the desert elves faction, as well as other additions to the post-apocalyptic mythos. That will begin as soon as I return, and I don't think I'll have time for much else over summer. Thus, every other project I'm onboard with (not that I can really think of any) will just have to take a backseat.

See you all in a month or so.

That's some great news. I'm really looking forward to those sprites.

Welp, here you go Espreon. Version 0.1 of the new Eloh for UtBS. I'll work on her more when I get back; this is the last sprite for me until the return.
