spearman recruit animation
I spended two afternoons trying to make a descent animation for the spearman. This is the second time I make this so I know my art is poor any variation you make or suggestion will be pretty handy.
My idea for the animation is simple. The spearman puts his shield on his hand, take the spear from the ground... that's it.

Re: spearman recruit animation
Potentially, this sort of animation could be useful, but it's not on the priority list. And it would need to be a MASSIVE amount smoother and better quality for that - if you actually put it together as an animated gif, you'll probably see that it's probably very jumpy and jerky - picking the spear up, in particular, would need at least twice the number of frames to work, probably more. Sorry to disappoint, and thanks for the effort =)
If you want to make a useful animation for the spearman, copying the drake clasher's spear attack over to him would be very handy - and something we could really use. Not totally easy, though, because of the significant anatomical differences betweent eh two, but hopefully you (or someone else) should be able to overcome those.

I tried it out in a sequence and tsi is right about the jerkiness, even at 0.2 frames a second he's still jerky. I do however like the idea.
Edit: Sorry mods.

Re: spearman recruit animation
Thanks
I will work on it then, this was like when one trows something at the wall and see what sticks. So, I think I got a 50% but that is fine for me.
I will try to make more frames then.
