Another note: You may want to make it so that drakes over chasm terrain flap like they would when over water.

Hi,

These are images which I have been using for Drake Flameheart. I built them for own, but they also fill up the lack of the animations in the default on 1.8.0. Although the number of image icons are only fifteen, including the standard one, they are still better than one without animations. (I think fifteen images are the minimum number for Flameheart)

I decided to post here because they might help some UMC creators temporarily. So feel free to use them (until BfW 1.10? I hope not :smile: )

The melee and the leading animations for Drake Flare (which are not in 1.8.0) are also in the folder.


I tested that the magenta works.:smile:

We will get to these guys. Eventually. It still irritates me that I didn't quite get it all polished off. I have some defence, flight and fire anims for one of them knocking about somewhere, but I didn't want to include them until all the animations were done.

Despite the Katar type weapons being thrusting weapons primarily, the sort of horizontal slash you've used here might be workable, actually.

Sure! It is wise and I knew it :wink: because the rest of Flare images are not in the core folder, yet, even you have created them for a long ago. That is why I said "temporarily".:smile:

I actually used one for Elvish Captain and Marshal. I personally like the horizontal slash for them, and they look okay in the game also.



I have a question:
Is it possible your guys get into the default on 1.8.x? Or they will be on 1.9.x as a theory?

You mean my animations for the Flare and Flameheart? I'll have to check with TPTB, because I'm never sure what can and cannot be added to a stable version - but I hope so. Otherwise, definitely 1.9.x

I've just committed all the animations for the Flare, except leadership about wwhich I need to consult briefly with Jet before I do anything. I'm going to have a crack at the Flameheart tomorrow. I hope to have the remaining animations, at least, from this project completed before I head off to Australia in a fortnight.

Trunk only though, not 1.8.

EDIT: and committed the Flameheart's animations.
