The poles themselves look great, though the tops still seem to be a little too fuzzy, uneven and uncoloured.

I like that encampment. It looks like it could be split into borders and used for castling around maybe orc-castles, but that's a whole 'nother story. The image needs to be cleaned up some. I don't think it fits properly, even scaled to 70x70, onto a tile of grass. Attached a scaled down version with the fuzz around the interior/exterior edges removed.

yeah i agree that it has to be cleaned up, but that's a lot easier said then done. Here is another version that should address some of the problems but the main design is the same.

what about the tents? Do you think 4 is enough or should i go for more. Also what kind of terrain, units, things would be good for scenerios or possible future use. Catapult? Seige Tower? Tower (defensive)? Gates?

It looks nice...better than the one I proposed sometime ago...but you need a gate. Also the logs should be smaller (and more of them) to fit better the scale of the units.

very small castles, packed with units with big heads and totally out of proportion with the building....

this will definitely give a medieval look to wesnoth

here is a new one, this one is crystal clear, the question is does it work. I still have to add shading. Please comment on this new one. Do you guys think that this one works better then the last one. If you feel some things need to improve, state so with as much detail as possible.

IMHO, this works much better than the last one, and i like the new color, but it is still fuzzy around the edges. i'll see if i can edit the images to show what i mean...

Sorry to say this late, But I think it's a little too sharp now. Antwerp's image is more along the lines I was thinking of - it also fits the bounds of the hex better.
