It's a third level unit... perhaps a bow and a sword?

As, for instance, in this picture?

It looks nice, maybe you could raise the bow by a pixel or two to make it more obvious. The bow shooting frames needs a bit of work, the bow looks too fuzzy.

No, i still is not in the previous post. :D

I like the new pcture, but with the bow and sword it looks like a mounted avenger. OK if this is what you want, but it looks somewhat strange.

OK, unfuzzy bow in the first attack frame, and slightly modified standard stance with a more prominent bow.

Any final suggestions?

IMO he should pull the bow string further back, and have the bow bend with the tension more.

You're keeping in mind that this is the first frame of two, right?

Yeah...imo it should go back further than the second frame.

When you pull a bow string back, you pull it back a long way, making the wood bend.

When shooting a bow, typically the hand with the string goes back all the way to your cheek.

None of the other archers in wesnoth do this.

Well, the flex of the bow is identical to that in a standard archer... nevertheless, here's a version with the hand slightly further back and a little more flex in the bow.

Feel free to redo all 10+ archer images in the game, no one is stoping you.

Guess what I'm going to say next time you ask for a feature to be implemented. *grin*

Seriously though, I think the archers in the game look good, I would just kinda like it if they pulled their bowstrings back further. It's not a big deal though. This also isn't the first time I've expressed this opinion.
