South East Animation

Again, thank you for all of your help so far.

Would a shadow be helpful or distracting?

The current chocobone movement is just a single frame, I can't imagine why it wouldn't be used if a new one was made. Oh wait, nevermind. :P

I think a shadow isn't really necessary. They're generally easy to make from my experience, though for something more complicated like this it might be a different story.

Smokeemjags: I meant I'd make an animation guide. Let me know if you'd use it.

On the North and South animation, the front view makes it quite hard to tell it is actually an horse...
Maybe a little angle from North-South axis (say +5° or +10° for North and -5° or -10° for South) would make the unit more recognisable ?

I'm not sure that will do too much good. Keep in mind that the spriters will paint the horse's face over the yellow blob in my animation. The last images I posted were at 30 degrees. Here I will post 35 40 and 45 degrees.

What do you think, does it make a difference?

Nah I'm more of a death animator, not big on movement animations. :)

And really, Just call me Jags.
