Welcome to the Prequel to the The Blind Sentinel, a.k.a. the Underness Series.
The game has been finished, and is totally complete.

Story Introduction
A short tale about a Mage of Alduin, who became later known as the Lich Lord Karlag. Escort him on his dark path, witness his evil destruction, and embark on the Underness Series.

Chronologically, this campaign is set before The Blind Sentinel, but this was written later, and plays a prequel role.

Features
- Quick-paced campagin with 11 scenarios
- Stronghold game-mode, similar to the one in The Stone of the North
- Dead bodies left behind on the battlefield
- Play-efficiency evaluation at the end of the campaign

Available translations
- Japanese (full)
- Hungarian (full)
Any translators are welcome :)

Current version available: 1.2.2
Updates only upon bug reports.

Finished balancing the stronghold map, and the game is complete. An update of 0.0.5 is due this evening, and only a few missing OO's remain before the stable edition.

Hi, this game can't be loaded, because ther are a macro-files error msgs. Sorry, but my print screen doesn't work, so I can't copy the msg.

Interesting. I didn't do much progress with it in the recent days, but it runs here, so I'll just update it as it is (1.0.2 updated), see if it fixes your problem. If not, then I haven't got too many guesses at the moment.
Did you download the Music Pack and its other dependencies? If not, it can cause problems like this.

Hi again, there is an error about cfg files in the C director. Sorry, if it doesn't help, but I don't know nothing about computers. :oops: I'm on windows 7 and firefox 31.

Sorry, I'd really need the exact error message. :hmm: It works just fine on both of my computers, both linux and win7 (where it doesn't get edited, it is only a regular downloaded add-on, I use it to doublecheck, that it'll work when it's not an author-add-on). You have to somehow let me know what macro it can't find, either by printscreen, a photo, or by typing it, what it exactly says.

Holy [censored] ! I try several things, but it doesn't work ! I try even, to open the clipbrd program, but this computer tell me it doesn't exist ! I really don't know what to do, to copy the error msgs, without writing it ! All I can say, is when I come to a certain level of dificulty, I've got only scenario unknown, when I could play the others campaigns ! I really don' get it ! :hmm:

This is the error message I get when I try to run it:

Presumably that means it requires The Stone Of The North to be installed (which I do not have).

Hi, thanks, all clear - updated 1.0.5 with the fix.
I prefer to use a summarise cfg for all my macros, but sometimes, the death events must be excluded (for any reason), so there is a no_deaths cfg, which in this campaign was not needed however, and I forgot to clear it, this is why it labeled Stone of the North as a dependency. Tested it now by removing it temporarily, and it runs, so this update should do the trick. :)
EDIT: There were also broken references to other campaigns, deleted them too, now it surely runs on its own.
Other important fixes:
- fixed image bug and gameplay bugs on map 9
- rebalancing as always
- made scenario objectives for map6 more clear

Sorry for any inconveniece caused, download the patch and you can continue.

Today the 1.2.0 has been uploaded.

The serial number change invokes a lot of new features and lots of improvements. These are:
- overall balance and supertesting, through the whole campaign, including ALL maps, all difficulties
- complete hungarian translation included
- few minor, but important story adjustments to fit the Underness Cycle better
- Completely new design for map 2, borrowed contents from Secrets of the Ancients with kind permission of Beetlenaut
- graphical improvements to maps and some units, see below
- Wanted Man replaced by Sailor
- fixed advancement bug for dark adepts
- fixed a bug on Stronghold map (northern caravans weren't always accepted)
- slight balancing on Stronghold map (southern elves have been slightly strengthened, caravan gold income slightly reduced)
- added turn limit for last map
- rebalanced and made in-game the Lichling, (advances from Dark Adept, advances to Lich) and improved its graphics
- slight decrease in damage
- noticable HP decrease
- heavy resistances decrease
- improved unit graphics:
- Winged Creature
- Death Marshal
- Lichling
- polished the player-efficiency-formula. Until know, the highest achievable rank was around 4, maybe 5 at the very maximum. Out of ten. 9 is now fairly accessible.
- made a little cleanup, concerning duplicate unit types in wesnoth-help, that were accidentaly brought about



In theory no bugs may occur. Still, if you come across any, please report these.
Otherwise, the development of this campaign enters a standstill for a while.
