Nice job but I think that it is too dark. She looks somehow evil like Paulomat4 said.

I don't want to be too harsh but I started this campaign and the first three scenarios all have the same lvl 0 recruits with the same tactically uninteresting, largely flat map. Like the old storyteller in the BBC version of Arabian Nights said, you have to hook your audience early. Maybe it gets better after this but I'm discouraged.

I have made the sprite a bit lighter, corrected the staff and animated her (the anim isn't perfect, but it should not be visible in game).
Corrected sprite:

Anim preview:
Cast + melee + block (note: gif has usually bad shadow and the casting anim looks somewhat funny in here without the missile)

Here are the files. They have the same naming as silver mage frames.

@gooby
First of all, thank you for your feedback. Yes, that map is boring. I can try to improve it. About recruit list, it will change during the campaign, in first chapter more than two times. Also the heroes will become stronger than usual soldiers and they have a lot of advancements what improve their attacks and give them new abilities. Clare, the heroine, will become stronger in first chapter (in scenario 13th or 16th scenario, it differs from one crucial decision), the other ones (more heroes will join you later) in third chapter.

@Dugi
Thank you very much.

Man, but almost all of your maps are quite boring. Why don't you ask a MP map designer to add some more interesting terrain features into them for you?

See this to understand what I meant.

Yeah, we really have to work a bit on your maps. Do you want to do this, or should we help you? (In every case we'll criticise :D ) I think we would not change the maps too much, but rather add some details. What do you think? I would offer my free time if you want.

@Dugi Yeah, the staff is better now. :D I can't see, that it's brighter, but its not too important. :hmm:

Even though dugi already made his version, I thought it'd be fun to see what I could do with it. So I made this. It's by no means finished, but I think it illustrates possible changes well enough. You decide which one you like better, of course.

I think bumbadadabum's is a LITTLE better/simplier, but both are nicely done :)

Yes, thank you for your offer. By the way I think that the sprite is a bit brighter.

It IS a bit brighter, I was increasing the brightness and contrast selectively for all grey parts of the image. I didn't make her much brighter, because then she looked too much like a white mage. I haven't kept the old one, so I cannot show you, though.

Mine is better. It has more downloads 8)

If you'd like, I could try to improve it more and maybe look at some other maps as well.

Awesome! I looked at some other maps, and tried improving them as well. Again, I might polish them some more, but if you think they're good as-is, that's cool with me.
