Okay, but because I still think that his leadership is a bit too strong, I made him start with leadership level 2 (not 3 like before) and need a total of 4 AMLAs (instead of 3) to get it to level 5.

dragon rider starts with NO leadership at all
you have to take the leadership lvl 3 to unlock the other advancements

I know. I mean that he has to take level 2 leadership AMLA first, and then he needs to upgrade it to level 3, then to 4 and finally to 5.

I might add this crafting recipe as a refund.

Agonising Desecration
(2 opals, 1 pearl, 1 diamond)
Damage increased by 30%
New weapon special: greater infect
New weapon special: drain
Increases physical resistances by 40%
1 more movement point

first: what means "greater infection"?
second: i dont need anymore upgrades. with the balance now i am happy. i found some sets and "created" my own sets = found some items who work good together on special units
my efraim does 50 - 9 cold dmg melee and 32 -13 ranged (knives) and has 150 life with murderlust and good resistances
my 2 strongest units kill him in one turn.
i am happy as it is now ^^

PS: any item with drain would be overpowered as long as it doesnt lowers damage.

Greater infect is a weapon special that can be obtained by Arch Necromancer, and it poisons enemies so that when the poison reduces their hp to 1, they become a soulless on your side.

I know that drain without a load of drawbacks on that item would be overpowered, I just wanted to make it obvious that that I didn't mean it seriously. As a justification why I am not gonna make the campaign easier (except for some specific scenarios and such).

No, it does one extra attack for any counterattack that misses. Works best with a unit with high defence using an attack that has a lot of damage and few hits (Executionner's axe on a Phantom who invested into defence AMLA).

offensively, defensively or both? I have it on the antisocial fencer/mage, but that's a separate attack, so not much chance of improvement there. Haven't seen the other amlas though.

It doesn't work defensively, you have to attack the unit, and rely on its failing counterattacks.

Hey, what's your skill in spriting? Like, to what degree can you create new units? Are you just good with modifying existing stuff, or can you create your own?

I can create new sprites, but the result isn't as good as it would be if I created it from existing sprites, and less similar to the mainline ones. Why are you asking?
