Yes (I installed it using the wesnoth-1.12.0-win32.exe installer, which of course does not officially exist yet, but is nonetheless available for download at sourceforge.net).shadowm wrote:@gnombat: Are you on Windows too?

It does officially exist, it’s just not officially announced because of the usual 1-week stable announcement delay.
Could you check if terrain-graphics\trash.cfg exists in your AtS install? (See EditingWesnoth for details on locating your add-ons dir.)

Re: After the Storm 0.9.11 [Wesnoth 1.11.11+]
Okay, just renamed those three files and Wesnoth has now got as far as the opening story page of the Campaign. I'll go from here and let you know if anything else crops up.
Incidentally, when I renamed the files, I kept a copy of the orginal in the various folders named "_finalORIG.cfg" and when I tried to start the campaign it threw up the original error, but for the _finalORIG.cfg file. So deleted them and stuck with the zzz.cfg files. I didn't know it would find an error in a file name different to the one it was looking for.

Re: After the Storm 0.9.11 [Wesnoth 1.11.11+]
Keeping an additional renamed copy of those files could potentially break things silently, so that is a bad idea unless you changed the extension. The way this works, Wesnoth will read all *.cfg files under those three directories in alphabetical order, with
_initial.cfg
first (which I don’t use) and _final.cfg
last. It’s these last two exceptions that break for existing Windows builds of versions 1.11.19 and 1.12.0 — they get included in alphabetical order instead, and _
comes before lowercase a-z

After the Storm 0.9.12 [Wesnoth 1.12]
Version 0.9.12 is out.
What’s new in this version, you ask? Well, nothing at all. Really.
Wesnoth 1.11.19 users on Windows: Please upgrade to the current Wesnoth 1.12.0 build, otherwise AtS WILL fail to load entirely, unless you perform the workaround changes I described in this post above. See the Wesnoth 1.12.0 announcement for details.
The complete changelog for this version follows:

The complete changelog for this version follows:
Code: Select all
Version 0.9.12:
---------------
* General:
* Work around crashes related to music transitions during cutscenes under
yet-to-be-determined operating conditions.
* Removed more Wesnoth 1.10.x support code.
* Replaced empty ellipse images with the new ellipse=none syntax from
version 1.11.11.
* Graphics:
* Placeholder portraits added: Valen.
* Scenarios:
* E1S3 - Civil War in the North:
* Give the player standard gold carryover, no bonus.
* E2S0 - Transience:
* Fixed sound effects remaining muted when advancing to the next scenario.
* E2S1 - By the Moonlight:
* Uncover Elynia at the start of the first town dialogue sequence, in case
she is standing in forest tiles.
* E2S10 - The Betrayal:
* Major map tweaks past the central gates.
* Reduced turn limit from 88/86/84 to 62/60/58.
* E2S11 - A Final Confrontation:
* Fixed a regression from 0.9.9 causing the boss keep to gradually crumble
down, potentially killing it prematurely.
* E3S4.1 - Outpost of Hell:
* Allow two more charges to spawn on the initial player bases on Hard,
thus matching the number of charges available on other difficulty levels.
* Reduced bonus enemy gold on turn 10 and added a heads-up for the player.
* E3S7B - Dark Sea:
* Fixed (again) a bug with Anya's ellipse assignment.
* Minor difficulty tweaks.
* E3S8C - Breakdown:
* Assigned a default hotkey for the elemental summoning menu option.
* Terrains:
* Replaced custom campfire terrain with its mainline equivalent (^Zi → ^Ecf),
losing its +25% lawful bonus in the process.
* Replaced custom trash/remains terrains with their mainline equivalents
(^Ettz → ^Edt, ^Etbz → ^Edb).

Re: After the Storm 0.9.12 [Wesnoth 1.12]
Just wanted to say thanks for the outstanding series of campaigns (IftU + AtS 1, 2, and 3). I've been playing the campaigns off and on since my 8th grade year (senior in high school now, couple of months from graduation) and have thoroughly enjoyed most of the scenarios. The story was fantastic, and your dedication to it despite a lack of large community surrounding it is surprising and welcomed. Kuddos for making one of, if not THE best UMC campaign to date.
I do have one question though:

Re: After the Storm 0.9.12 [Wesnoth 1.12]
I can answer that. There's an epilogue scenario that can only be unlocked by finding some secret in one of the previous E3 scenarios. I can't remember where, exactly, since I played before he implemented that.Aeryllos wrote:I do have one question though:Spoiler:
Creator of Shadows of Deception (for 1.12) and co-creator of the Era of Chaos (for 1.12/1.13).

Thanks for the hint. So I'd need to replay through the last few scenarios after finding it (assuming it's not in "Blood") to unlock it?vultraz wrote:

Re: After the Storm 0.9.12 [Wesnoth 1.12]
I found a bug? in episode3, Dark Fire part 1.
Elynia got the Portion of Life, but other unit's message("This potion flask seems important. Let the Lady of Light come to examine it.") still displayed if I move someone to the potion's hex.
AtS version: 0.9.12+dev, Wesnoth version: 1.12.

Re: After the Storm 0.9.12 [Wesnoth 1.12]
Thanks. I have added the compiled translation to the repository and it will be included in version 0.9.13a (along with the fix to the issue you posted above) whenever I get around to publishing that.
I thought I’d take this opportunity to clarify (for the 1e-12 people who care) why the topic still says 0.9.12 even though the version on the 1.12 add-ons server is purportedly 0.9.13. Well, the truth is I have no idea how, but I appear to have uploaded a development version to the server back in January (so it’s identified as 0.9.12+dev on the Campaigns menu) and marked it as 0.9.13 on the .pbl file. This was completely unintended, and although I verified that the uploader at least appears to be me and all files are legit and unmodified, I simply have no explanation as to how this could possibly happen. I noticed this a few weeks ago and decided to let it pass, so the next version will be marked as 0.9.13a to make sure the upgrade option works correctly.
Also, there will be no 1.13.x/1.14.x version.
