This scenario requires you to survive for X turns and keep the enemy away for the docks.
That means you must not let a enemy unit set foot on the docks. Never did strike me as too difficult a scenario.

I could use some help debugging an error I'm getting when starting the Silent Night scenario on version 1.6.
As the scenrio's map is loaded I get the following pop-up message:
"Assertion failed!
Program:...1.6\wesnoth.exe
File:src\unit_display.cpp
Line:128
Expression:!path.empty()"
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi, sorry but "top of the world" scenario, is quite dificult ! Someone have an idea to go through ?

I'm making some of the more difficult and tedious scenarios a bit easier.
I don't what that Silent Night error is about.
As for the top of the world - that scenario is very tough. Use entangle to halve the yeti's damage output, then shower him with ranged weapons. Gang up on it and use favorable terrain. Also, let the yeti's and trolls fight eachother.

Hi, sorry if I look like an idiot, but the trouble is, there are too much opponents for a little team like this. The yeti's make a lot of damages and have a lot of life points. Sorry to ask once more, explain me the way to beat this crazy scenario !

The positions of trolls, yeti's and wovles are randomized.
If you get immediately swarmed you probably had a bed luck when the creatures were placed. You might wanna try re-starting that specific mission.
Move slowly and careful. Keep your units in the woods or on the hills when fighting the enemy.

Hey Great campaign! I'm getting an error when I advance my Cleric to level four. It says the following "Error while playing the game: game_error: Unknown unit type " while generating traits".

Eh? Cleric doesn't advance any further. It uses the standard AMLA after that.
I'm contemplating taking over complete control of the players gold amount in each mission for better balancing.

I will try updating to v1.6.2 and see if the bug disappears.

I have a similar problem, I don't get the pop-up, the game just crashes. I'm using Version 1.6 on Mac OS X Version 10.5.6

Upgrading to v.1.6.2 solved the problem for me. No need to restart the campaign either - I could use my previuos saves, which was nice.
A note to others who have encountered this problem - after upgrading to v.1.6.2, don't forget to download the "Coming of the Storm" campaign from the server again, or else you'll get a "scenario unknown" message.
