All the History
All the storyline of Wesnoth in 1 campaign!! In this one there should be the big battles of the story of Wesnoth!
Example:
Miss 1 Defense of Clearwater Port
Miss 2 Defending Southbay
Miss 3 The Rise of Wesnoth ( Haldric Kills Jevyan )
Miss 4 Orcs Invasions
...
...
...
Last Mission The Agarthen COnqueror ( watch A New Order )
This campaign may be very long...
Don't make missions on minor characters or this will be too long...
What do you think?
Example:
Miss 1 Defense of Clearwater Port
Miss 2 Defending Southbay
Miss 3 The Rise of Wesnoth ( Haldric Kills Jevyan )
Miss 4 Orcs Invasions

Hasta la vittoria per Wesnoth, siempre!
Re: All the History
I suspect that anyone who would want to do something like this would be unable to make it good.Lord Jevyan wrote:What do you think?
You want to turn each campaign into a scenario? But, it looks like you want to turn scenarios from some campaigns into scenarios, but they're already scenarios. To better understand this idea, I request you elaborate on what you had in mind.
Hope springs eternal.

not really... you can see it like read a book... and there's the option of can't recall. About the leader... can be changed between scenaries?
If that it´s possible, there's no reason for don't make something like that

It certainly can be done, and actually has been done before (see Northern Rebirth).Elestel wrote:not really... you can see it like read a book... and there's the option of can't recall. About the leader... can be changed between scenaries?

I don't think it'd make a very good campaign. One of the things that makes campaigns interesting is the way that your performance in one scenario carries over to the next. That just can't happen much in this campaign.
It wouldn't make a good book either, because it's try to tell several (mostly) unrelated stories. It would end up being a bunch of scenarios that are grouped together, without much of a cohesive whole.

No one is saying it can't be done. We're saying it won't be interesting.

So..
you want to copy all big battles like Clearwater port , Southbay and Rise of Wesnoth from TROW, a bunch of battles like Elves Last stand and Ancient Alliance or Save the King from LoW,
Test of the Clans or Battle for Wesnoth from HttT and the Attack on Weldyn from EI for example.
This is EASY to do, just copy the appropriate scenaria. The only thing you actually need is to have playtested these scenaria to see with how much gold you start on each difficult level(easy, medium, hard) and what
units you can recruit(you can no longer recall, of course).
Depending on your viewpoint you may miss all the fun climaxing
in thes battles from previous scenaria.
If you want there is also a one-scenario campaign called BigBattle which is a Big Battle too.
