I'd like to drop in a big thank you to Horus2, Mint and all players from Direwolf group for this great tournament. My plan minimum was at least one win and I won two games so I'm very glad about the outcome (besides, I wouldn't have time for matches in round 2). Cheers to you, guys

Do not run away too urgently, as dropped players will be encouraged to fill a little survey in regard of unit balance in PYRA.
This will go public soon, and in it you will be able to rate units on a 1 to 5 stars scale. I am really curious of your impressions on certain units, so i would be happy if you all would spend some minutes on it.

I can't believe I didn't realise this before, and nobody else mentions or probably didn't notice either, but;
Every player after p1 can use planning mode to greatly speed up turn 1.
I used this vs Daunt here and it only took 1x the time of picking recruits for turn 1. Maybe this increases incentive of future PYRA extended era games


With a random encounter, Dauntless vs Mint game happened today. P1 Daunt in Weldyn Channel.

Because Wesnoth horsemen are already the most deadly of their kind. Also, mixing alignments in the unit composition is usually a good idea.

And as they are four, the Apocalypse period is over, leaving ImNotGoingDown's disqualified body in the dust.

This means AlaskanAvenger has been advanced, congratulations for proceeding from Group Cavalier.

Only one match has been left in Round 1, precisely the szdik570 vs Diasporoz, to decide who will be the 8th to be honored with a warm invitation by our mascot birdie to the blood-splattered battlefields of the present round.

Fill the empty boxes below the units with numbers ranging from 1 to 5 to rate them by their usefulness. Description of these values:

5 - Unit is always good to pick, regardless tactics, map and unit composition, or may be gamebreaking from a certain aspect. In short: OP.
4 - When everything considered, this unit excels at doing its intended task and you cannot get wrong with it.
3 - While not as universal or effective as units above, in certain cases (tactics, map, unit composition) it makes a good alternative.
2 - This unit has very little usage compared to others in general or to a similar unit, therefore it is UP and needs a buff.
1 - A waste compared to others, basically you are giving a handicap to yourself whenever you pick it. Very UP.


Let us see which units are the most and least appreciated from the pickers' perspective!

BTW i barely have the courage to add that i still haven't refreshed the first page replay collection, although in excuse of this i spent enormous amount of energy and more than ten hours of my freetime to put a single unit into PYRA, but the rest is zipcordedmouth.gif and has been left for conspiracy theorists to figure out.
