Hello, I am proudly announcing the results of the second round TGT between MIso Hapi and RNG.

First game on Loris river, featuring me tiboloid and nelson knagla and neki UD went our way.

For the secong game CragHack joined team Miso Hapi and brought a new wind (and a bit of rng :) ) to the team and MIso Hapi managed to win the second game on Path of Daggers.

The decider is played on Xanthe Chaos, featuring loys(me) and Orc(neki) vs Drake(CragHack) and elves (tiboloid). Orcs make a big push first night and then team RNG manages to hold some vills throughout the game.

I enjoyed the games, and on behalf of RNG i would like to thank Miso Hapi for the games.

I am adding the replay of game 3, enjoy it ;)

And RNG is looking forward to challenging Noob Leavers in the group finals :)

Cheers

My feeling is that before this edition of the TGT there were essentially two separate worlds: ladder players and 2v2 players. I think this edition of the TGT really helped in forging one big Wesnoth community. So thanks again Faello, for your patience, your time and this great achievement.
We will watch with delight the coming games !

Thank you tiboloid, and thanks for your participation in the TGT, team Miso Hapi has shown that it can do really well on the 2vs2 battlefield (espescially on the Paths of Daggers, it was a great game to obs, I'm happy that there's a working replay from it :) ) & - indeed - special thanks to CragHack for a skillful subbing in this matchup :!:

I'm sure the world can barely stand the wait time before seeing me fall. As in, wow, someone who loses against AI loses in a 2vs2 tournament? Historical event! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

TGT Announcement - End of the 2nd Round

Ladies & gentlemen, I hereby announce end of the 2nd Round of the TGT! :)

Almost all (except 3rd game between NFC North & North&South) games were played on time, thus I'll update the tournament tree and present the pretenders to the group winners title officially after the last game of the round 2 will be finished (so hurry up NFC and North&South, don't let others wait  ).

Group Finals of TGT! are atm unofficially opened, official announcement will be posted after the last game of this round.

I want to thank every team for their participation in the second round, and I hope that we'll see even better games in the Group Finals :)

I respect your authority and all, Faello, but group finals is such a bad name. Can't we call them semifinals ? Cause that's what they really are. There were no groups, this whole tournament was elimination based from the beginning to the end. So, please can we just call them semi-finals ?

Oh, another thing guys, the replay of the last RNG vs. Miso Hapi game is online with commentary here:

http://www.youtube.com/brutalwesnoth

If you think I should be casting some more 2v2s, please post a comment on the last 2v2 video and I will cast all the remaining matches of team RNG and the final (should RNG not be in it). If you think I am such a noob at commenting 2v2s, just ignore this message. :)

Brutal thanks,

neki

Regarding NFCNorth vs. North&South 3rd game:

I've received message that third game between those teams will be played at 18:00 GMT, Saturday 5th, which is probable regarding the previous week discussion about it.

Still I don't see any announcement about the game - will you play it at that time guys?

After a fierce fight, with loads of luck on my side, the secret "Developer" NFC North team lost their third match versus North&South. The chaos in Xanthe favoured my dwarfs over Cutlers orcs. The upgraded plk3

ruled the night versus Rodgers dwarfs. The eastern front decided the game the third night, when plk2/3 troops supported my attacks and gaining the advantage in gold and number of troops.

Thanks for the nice match guys making it great fun to play against you.
