what is saurians?

i wanted to find a Korean word for 'saurians', but i couldn't find it. so i need some help.


what is saurians? drakes and saurians are reptiles.

but i can use a word means 'dragon' for drakes and other words to indicate it is lesser.

i tried to translate it to 'reptiles' or 'reptile human' but it was odd so i translated it just 'saurians'.


is there species similar to saurians? or is this unique species for Wesnoth?

if it is unique, i will translate it just 'saurians' and be worry about it no more.

Saurians are unique to Wesnoth, derived from a Greek word for lizard.

It would be better to find an alternative to 'dragon' for drakes though, since dragons and drakes are different. Drakes are dragons that are not fully developed because of their environment etc. So in Latin for example we called them 'draculus' meaning 'little dragon'.

도마뱀 (if you put a word of family after that)?

Well, what I mean is just "lizard-family", though.

you're right, but i think it seems odd that i give animal's name to subhuman species.

so i leave it's name saurian, not 도마뱀인간, 도마뱀족 and so on.

도마뱀인간 is also too long.
