Problem

Post by VooZ2 »

So, I want translate Wesnoth into Lithuanian language, but I have this problem:

wooz@ModBOX:~/wesnoth-0.7$ make_translation > new.cfg
BEGIN: preprocessing file...
END: preprocessing file... (took 2483ms)
BEGIN: parsing config...
END: parsing config... (took 2809ms)

and then....

wooz@ModBOX:~/wesnoth-0.7$ merge_translations data/translations/language.cfg new.cfg > language.cfg
Could not read 'data/translations/language.cfg'

so, how to solve this problem?

Well, first of all, you shouldn't use the "merge" command when you're creating a new translation, only use that one when you're updating a translation...
Anyways, at the moment we recommend using the script 'weslang' to generate and maintain language cfg's ;) I know this was an old post...
But if you're still up for making a Lithuanian translation, you'd be very welcome... We would appreciate your efforts ;)
Btw I've been in Vilnius once ;)
