1) 1.14.1, medium (edit: I forgot to change the difficulty back after scenario 15)
2) 6
3) OK
4) This was quite a diffucult. On my first try I did not expect the second bunch of spiders, so I had to restart the level and deal with the first wave in different way expecting the following. On the second attempt I had to reload several times but there was no need for complete restart. The main issue was not to finish the scenario, but to keep alive some units useful in the following battles. In the end I lost there 2 dead knights, 2 banebones and 1 necromancer. Those are not soft loses. Ardryn-Na as a 4 level old lich was my best unit killing spiders in one turn
5) 3 - not really that much, it is boring to fight only one kind of enemy in whole dungeon and the cave is strange - not narrow enough for classic dungeon tile-to-tile warfare and not wide enough for large-scale battle and open terrain evading
6) Perhaps add some other characters, such as rats, scorpions, ants etc.

I imagined these death dialogues for these units:
  • Lich Ardryn-Na: "No! In the end, the transition didn't help!"
  • Lich Ras-Tabahn: "So much effort for nothing..." Ardryn-Na: "DAMN IT!"
  • Lich Carcyn: "Forgive me, Shynal!" She: "My love, one day we'll be together forever."
  • Rudic: "Curse you, Ardonna of Tarrynth!"
  • Vendraxis: "I'm sssorry. Go ahead without me."
  • Garcyn: "Mossa! I'm going to join you!"
  • Vash-Gorn: "Now I can finally rest in peace..."
Then, I propose to the game designers to draw lich Ardryn-Na avatar, using her ancient lich sprite as a basis, both human and lich Ras-Tabahn's avatar, outlaw, necromancer and lich Carcyn's avatar, Vendraxis' avatar and lich and soulless Shynal's avatar and sprite, using her walking corpse sprite as a basis. Then I'd make both Garcyn and Vash-Gorn loyal units, since they're respectively Ardonna and Ras-Tabahn's best creations.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?

Diabolic (Difficult) and Version 1.14.16

(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)

9

(3) What did you think about the dialog and story?

Pretty solid.

(4) What were the major challenges you faced?

No real hard counter versus spiders and the turn limit being kinda tight. I had to restart the scenario a couple of times. I also broke my "no save-loading" personal rule once near the end when my leader died.

(5) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)

4

(6) What suggestions do you have to make it more fun?

Maybe less spiders or replace some spiders with level 2 versions. I would also add a few more turns, though I was playing on the hardest difficulty so maybe it was working as intended.
