btw, I feel like being able to edit only 3 tiles each time is a bit too slow. how about allowing 5 or 6 changes until the map is filled at least by 50%, or something like that?

I'd stick with these rules for the moment, the interesting thing is how macro features emerge from atomic contributions, and I feel 5 tiles is already significant to make a 'feature' (like a whole keep, for example), if it's clear what I mean. Obviously, the speed depends on how many people participate, but we're in no hurry :)

this is done to make the mountain tiles/volcano connect into 1 epic-looking volcano, instead of something which can only be described a cliff-surrounded lava pit
