I really can't remember what the version was all i know is :

There were no :

Necromancers
Orcish Slurbows
Drake Hurricane
Drake Warden
Drake Gladiator ( the lv 3 one )
The Saurian Oracles used to wear wierd blue jumper things ( or at least i thought so)
Mages had blue robes
No mermen initiate

The Elves had the desert elf graphics
Battle for Weslin bridge was still around
You could play as saurains in the default era

Well all you got was:

Saurain skirmisher and his line

Saurain augur and a healer advancment and the oracle but as i said it a wierd little what looked like to me blue jumper.

Problem was with them that they were at a disadvantage with only 6 overall units.

How can I be expected to remember? I believe it was before 0.4.4, and after 0.3.4

In the line of other posts here about features remembered:
  • There were several entire races that hadn't been made or even envisioned yet (Drakes, Saurians, etc), or had only a single unit (Merfolk, etc).
  • There was no complete campaign.
  • Delfadore had a different name?
  • Great Mages could teleport!
  • Units didn't have unique names?

All I remember about Weslin Bridge was around when I first started playing, which was in 2004, and I started on version .6 or .7. So you could easily be before that, which is really reaching back there.

I'm not a fan of turn-based games. (long ago) I always grab the latest be it filled with bugs or whatever so when I tried Wesnoth I tried the beta version, 1.5.5

I started with version 1.2.8. Ahhh... I still remember the days of Blitz before it got changed and renamed. I actually made a .map file of the original Blitz and updated it to 1.4.x standard in order to still have it. :lol2:

I started on .2 or .1. I found it as one of a thousand demos on a CD before I was a freshman in high school. Now I'm 21 and the game is huge! The version I played only had two levels of Heir to the Throne and the graphics were very fuzzy. I remember you could only get three units: Elvish fighters, archers, and scouts.
