That's going to be a development release, but 4.6 will be stable.
What's this annoying thing that appears at the bottom of every one of my posts?

Or long story short
I played BFW offline since 0.6 but I'm an online (occasional) player only since 1.1 :)

My first version was 1.0.X.

My friend attempted to convince me to download the game, but I never did. He finally brought me to his house to play it, and that's when I decided it was worth playing.

I'm a n00b... 1.2.1 until YESTERDAY!! when I realised wherever I downloaded this game from 1 month ago was obviously outdated.

I'll introduce myself here since its my 1st post on these forums and I must say I do love this game, even if it does cause a lot of frustration.

Strategy Background: RISK, the world conquering game; played it since I was pre-teen, over 20 years ago.
RPG Background: D&D, aD&D back when is was a cool dice, pen & paper, compeling story telling and unlimited imagination game.
Programing Background: None (apart from a few lines of code on the old Sinclair Spectrum54...) , but It's something I'm becoming really interested in.
Personal Background: Lots of travelling since very young, I've been lucky to live on 3 continents so far, educated in Europe and currently living in South Beach, Miami Beach; can't complain :P

That's the end of my blurb, I'm going back to playing the game... cya

I think Jetryl may have played earlier than that, since he emailed me with an attempt at a Li'sar portrait quite a while before joining the forum, and I think had already been playing for a while before emailing me the portrait.

Correct - it was something like 0.4, or 0.5. I can't remember what it was that tipped me off to this project's existence, originally.

Might've been this magazine:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacAddict
(Which bundled a lot of shareware/freeware on a CD, even if it had zero coverage in the included printed magazine. MacAddict's purpose faded as the internet got decent bandwidth; which is why they've rebranded their magazine as Mac|Life. I stopped subscribing to any magazines years ago, though.)
