0.7 came bunndled with the Linux system I got several years ago. I played quite a bit for a while and stopped, it was only very recently(like 2 weeks ago) that I found this site, these forums, a Version 1.1 available for download, and basically a whole lot more to Wesnoth than I had thought there was. Since that point, I've been re-hooked on Wesnoth.
0.6.1 I went back and played it and it's quite a good game, despite the primive graphics and user interface.

Sorry, freedom fry, even though freedom fries are so 2002. I'm glad I don't have to freedom kiss my wife anymore.
Hope springs eternal.

0.7.9 or something very close to that. But not 8, a few days after I downloaded it I had to re-download the thing all over again on dial up. I almost lost faith.
I *think* I know why so many people joined at 0.8 - The Open CD, and other package do-dars, had the thing (and still do) on a release that happened to co inside with the release of 0.8.

Ah yes, now I remember. In fact I didn't really understand the word french fry, but now you mention it I remember. Though I don't know what a futuristic fry can be...scott wrote:Sorry, freedom fry, even though freedom fries are so 2002. I'm glad I don't have to freedom kiss my wife anymore.
