Most of the recall lists posted so far have little meaning in the context of this post...

C'mon, this thread might be interesting if you keep to the topic (just as likely as Test of the Clan without losses, I guess )!

Would you believe I just tried Test of The Clans for the first time, and beat it with no losses on turn 20? With a team of semi-misfits!? (Medium difficulty.) With normal luck, I'd have lost one of my gryphons, but a bunch of knights and horsemen missed him like 5-6 times in a row and took massive damage. :)

I'm pretty sure I could have finished it before turn 20, but I didn't know what was coming after the 25 kills (I thought it would just end), so I had to do some traveling to kill the second enemy leader.

Really fun scenario- I loved playing it.

I have a theory though, that anyone who wanted an easy no losses win could just march some mermen up into the northern pond, put them in reach of the shore, and rotate them to the center when they were wounded (as you all know, the pierce damage is massive against a charging horseman). I happened upon a situation where horsemen kept charging my Hoplite....He killed a great many before retiring. 8)

Here's my list:

(This was my first time playing HTTT, so I think I could do better if I tried it again.)

1925 gold and-

1 Elvish Sylph
2 Elvish Shydes
1 Great Mage
1 Assassin
2 Dwarvish Dragonguards
1 Dwarvish Thunderguard
5 Dwarvish Lords
1 Elvish Avenger
1 Elvish Hero
1 Elvish Champion
1 Elvish Outrider
1 Elvish Sharpshooter
1 Grand Knight
1 Mage of Light
1 Merman Hoplite
1 Merman Triton
1 Merman Warrior
2 Paladins
1 Silver Mage
3 Gryphon Masters

and some leftover level 1's.

I was more about getting one of every mastered unit than amassing a lot of any one kind.

The list gonig from the most popular units to least popular units.

6 Elvish Champions(yeah,I like my guys, especially when they had the 12-4 melee and 9-4 ranged)
1 Great Mage(loyal,so I recalled him every scenario)
3 Elvish Sharpshooter
2 Elvish Marshall
3 Elvish Avenger
2 Dwarvish Lords
2 Elvish Outriders(one of these is loyal)
3 Grand Knights
7 Knights
2 Silver Mages
2 Shydes
1 Sylph
3 Mages Of Light
2 DragonGuards
1 Assasin
2 Merman Triton
3 Merman Warrior

I like to clean my recall list so I cleaned it of all level 1 units.all my level 2 units(3 of them) died in the last scenario.

I only played on easy, (as you can tell from my post count) I'm a total newbie at this (fire sword? what fire sword? damnit!)

1 Great Mage(loyal)
1 Elvish Sylph

1 Dwarvish Lord
1 Dwarvish Dragonguard
1 Merman Triton
1 Merman Hoplite
5 Grand Knights (1 loyal)
2 Paladins
2 Assasins (both loyal)
1 Elvish Shyde (loyal)
1 Elvish Champion(loyal)
2 Elvish Marksmen
1 Elvish Avenger(Loyal)
1 Mage of light
1 Arch Mage

2 Dwarvish Thunderguards
1 Dwarvish Steelclad
1 Dwarvish Stalwart
3 Merman Warriors
1 Merman Netcaster
1 Mermaid Priestess
1 White Mage
1 Rogue (loyal)
2 Elvish Heros
2 Gryphon Masters
1 Elvish Rider(loyal)

and assorted level 1 units

as you can see, I like my loyal units and my knights, I was kinda disapointed there weren't any loyal dwarven units, otherwise I might have milked them a little more.

of course all the mermen and the mermaid were loyal too

Let's see if I can remember them all . . .

1 Elvish Outrider,
1 Elvish Sylph (Personally, my favorite unit in the game)
1 White Mage
2 Mages of Light
1 Red Mage
1 Lancer (Had a second, but it died to a stupid mistake a few missions before the end)
1 Grand Knight
1 Paladin
1 Royal Guard
2 Naga Hunters

. . . I can't recall if I had a Pikeman and a Javeliner, that might have been another campaign. Probably was. That list above is what I'm sure I had by the end, there may have been a couple of others but that's what I used the most.

Yes, I did have several Rangers and Marksmen, but I used them well . . . meaning they died before the end. There might have been a surviving Ranger that I had made on the very last mission, but that wouldn't count as having been recalled. The Outrider was in fact the scout unit that appeared at the very beginning of the campaign to report the attacks (mission 2 or 3, I believe).
What if nobody ever asked "What if?"

My recall list at the final level, medium difficulty, version 1.0

In no particular order:
  • The four Heroes (All at max level of course)
    1 Great Mage
    1 Arch Mage
3 Assasins (including Reglok from SoE)
    4 Dwarvish Dragonguards
    5 Dwarvish Lords
    2 Elvish Avengers
    2 Elvish Champions
2 Elvish Enchantresses (for some reason I never used them, so I never got a Sylph)
    1 Elvish Marshal
    2 Elvish Outriders (including Eonihar)
    2 Elvish Sharpshooters
    3 Elvish Shydes
    1 Grand Knight (Haldiel)
    1 Mage of Light (Elrain)
    2 Paladins
    1 Silver Mage
    1 Dwarvish Steelclad
1 Elvish Captain (who advanced during the final level)
    1 Elvish Druid
    1 Elvish Sorceress
    4 Gryphon Masters
3 Merman Warriors (all from BoP)
    2 leftover Merman Fighters
It was the first campaign I ever played, so I sort of treated my recall list as something of a collection. That was also my recall list at the end of the last scenario as I took no casualties in the final battle.

And Fleshpeeler, what campaign are you refering to. Several of those units aren't even available in HttT.
