My bandit can level.

In the mp game I played.

Version 0.9.1 mac

Some mp players saw it, some not.

Do you have the demo MP era installed? If you read the config file, it warns you that it can mess up MP if you don't delete it. The reason is:

#endif
If you don't have the demo era, then I don't know. A campaign somewhere.

I do have liberty installed, but my leader, a trapper, didn't show as being able to level.

The weirdest thing really was that some people could see what I saw, some saw it as 8/- xp instead of 8/58.

I don't know. Liberty should be well insulated against that type of thing. Only the custom eras expose multiplayer to USE_L3_OUTLAWS, unless it's another user campaign doing it. The outlaw unit pack could also do it if you edited the config file. Sorry! If you find a bug in any of those, please let me know.

All I have done is to Install Wesnoth 0.9.1 (when it came) and the newest Liberty. No custom eras, no changing in maps.

Oh well... I guess I'll try something... a game against the AI to see if I can reproduce it.

I did start to get OOS errors at that point of the game..

Reproducable. All leveled thugs can level to highwaymen.

It IS a problem with Liberty, which I will soon fix. I apologize. Thanks for the bug report. I'm not sure how it happened (the #ifdef protecting the bandit was deleted somehow).

I don't see why the lvl 3 bandits aren't included in MP(I realize it's hard to get things to that lvl in MP anyway, but it is possible)

Add level 3 bandits in MP, remove the Grand Marshal from MP.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

I like idea of adding lvl3 outlaws to the game. Maybe in 0.9.3 if most people will agree...

It seems to be difficult enough to get level 3 units in multiplayer. . . I don't think it will make much difference. And having another level to work for makes the game more interesting. I don't see why it shouldn't be left the way it is.

Isn't it concur, not concure?

Anyway, I agree that they should be added... there is great art for them, and stats too, would be weird to leave them out... why couldn't there be elite bandits like elite anything else, too?

I agree with level 3 outlaw part, but disagree with the grand marshal removing part.
