History - How a troll is born
Hi guys
I have been googling, I have read a lot of stuff about legends and so on.
My question: How is a troll born? How does a troll turn into a living being?
There are mentioned troll women, spread over all the tales I know so far. Also, trolls are often known for transforming into stone when being exposed to the sun light. Do trolls arise of stone? If they do, how is it determined when a stone is supposed to give birth to a new trollish life?
Considering troll women - Do they have some sort of really awkward and unsmooth troll-sex?
I appreciate any replies, I am willing to read any links to legends or other tales that reveal any story for the history of a troll.
BTW, my question is about trolls in the wesnoth history primarily.

The thread is about troll females - This answers a part of my question. Still, there isn't discussed how troll whelps are born. Please let me know if I missed something when reading that 3 pages thread
