Different damage rounding?

Post by BadHatHarry »

Goblin Pillager actually do 6 dmg by melee-fire attack and 5 dmg by ranged-impact to skeleton at day (with original 5 dmg for both type of attacks).
Skeleton have -20% resistance to both fire and impact.
Why damage by fire and impact different then?

Probably because the time of day modifier isn't actually applied first.

The difference is that the base damage for the torch is 7 before the time of day modifier is applied whilst the base damage for the net is 6. If you open the Damage Calculation box from the Attack Enemy box you can see how the final damage value is calculated.
