What do you do that is more for roleplay than strategy?
Whenever my leader is an adept or similar, and I can recruit adepts, I make my leader a Lich but nobody else. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!

Stick with a bad choice I made in a campaign instead of loading to make it more like real life.

I'm overprotective of my units (excluding undead). They have names, individual traits, etc. I want to make sure they all get to go home at the end. When I played UtBS, it was one of the elves I rescued from the rubble of the meteor shower who struck the killing blow. I had kept him alive through the entire campaign and he was my right-hand man through it all.
Of course, this protective mindset means I can't resist save scumming.

It's spelled "definitely", not "definately". "Defiantly" is a different word entirely.
