Streaming Wesnoth on Twitch Help

Hey guys,

I'm just getting back into the game after a moderate break. I would like to start streaming Wesnoth on Twitch.tv using Open Broadcaster Software. However, I can't seem to get it to work. I always just get a black screen on OBS when actively streaming or previewing the stream. I've always added Wesnoth to "Sources" via Game Capture. Any tips as to what I'm doing wrong?

I'm not too familiar with OBS, but since nobody else seems to have any idea either: You could try to use the desktop capture mode instead of using a game source, and stream the screen region where Wesnoth is. I have heard that this worked for certain games which were not streamable by the standard method.

Using a "game source" sounds like it captures stuff somewhere in the video card's pipeline. As we do software rendering, that wouldn't work. Note that this guess is based entirely on what crendgrim said.
